Fondo Esperanza is a social development institution whose job is to support entrepreneurs from vulnerable sectors, through the provision of microfinance services, training and support networks, with the objective of improving their living conditions, families and communities.
With 15 years of experience, Fondo Esperanza is currently the largest community of entrepreneurship in Chile. It has 54 offices that work with more than 110,000 entrepreneurs and has a presence in 248 communes between Arica and Chiloé.
Committed to changing the lives of people and those around them, the professionals of FE work to provide opportunities to entrepreneurs who, for the most part, are part of the 20% most vulnerable of people and are often excluded from the system formal bankruptcy, including persons on the streets and deprived of their liberty.
